Welcome Girl!
I’m so glad you’re here. You’re probably wondering WHY I’m offering this free coaching program for women.

I believe in me too, but that wasn’t always the case. There was a point in my life where I didn’t believe in myself at all. In fact, once upon a time I felt hopeless and completely stripped of my power.
My humbling tale makes for a pretty good story. It includes a multimillion-dollar corporate bankruptcy, a midlife crisis, a wake-up call from Oprah Winfrey, a Facebook group that launched an empowerment program (this one), and a chance encounter with Arianna Huffington that reignited my belief in myself.
I believe empowered women improve the world. We bind families, companies and communities, solve problems using empathy and collaboration, manage a million little details to keep complicated lives chugging along, and fight to make sure our kids stay healthy and safe, have opportunities, and feel loved.
We’re overwhelmed, overcommitted, burned out, and disconnected from who we were as women before people started telling us what a woman was supposed to be.
We say yes when we mean no, pretend we’re okay when we’re not, keep quiet when we need to speak up, play small to avoid making others uncomfortable, and feel guilty over the trade-offs we have to make to keep it all together.
We doubt ourselves, deny our deepest desires, eat garbage food, numb our feelings, starve ourselves of sleep, and consistently put ourselves last on our own lists, like that’s some kind of badge of honor. It. Is. Not.
We compete with each other, nurse petty jealousies, and judge one another’s choices instead of standing in solidarity.
All you have to do is DECIDE. Start with your own life. Begin with your own dreams. I’m here to help. In fact, there are thousands and thousands of us doing our work together now. ☺
They say it takes a village to raise a child. I think it takes one to improve a life as well. We’re building our own empowerment village right here, and you are wanted.
This is a community of women committed to the empowerment of women. Please accept this message as my personal invitation to join us.
Together We’ve Got This!
XO
Kim
I’m 49 years old, and have been happily married to my husband, Jay, for 21 years. He is my person.
I hit the jackpot when I married Jay, because he gave me four amazing bonuskids Joey, Emma, Becca and Megan. Then Joey married Lauren, and they gave us Payton, Harlow, and Jack. (Can you see the stars in my eyes?) Most recently, Emma married David, and well … we’re waiting with starry eyes.
That’s right – I’m a grandma! I’m a gaga one too. Payton, Harlow and Jack call me Mimi. To say I’m in love would be the understatement of the century.
Allow me to introduce the four-legged love of my life. He’s my 12-year-old lab. He’s never met a morsel of food he didn’t like, and that has turned him into 100 pounds of wagging love.
I’m a health nut. Green juice, lemon water, and heavy veggies are my go-to favorites. Where my food comes from matters to me, and the way the animals and earth were treated to make that food matters even more. I love a good exercise endorphin high, and I’m addicted to my Peloton.
I love nature. My happy place is my garden. I have a book addiction – almost always of the self-help variety. I’ve been known to disappear for a weekend on a Netflix binge. My favorites include The Real Housewives (all of them), Game of Thrones, Lord of the Rings, and Star Wars. I’m a little OCD, and I’ve never met a rule I liked.
It took me a long time to establish a self-connection practice that worked for me. I’ve got a good routine worked out now. It includes writing in my journal, meditation, working out, enjoying nature, and taking long, hot, heavenly scented baths. I’ll show you how to develop a routine that works for you.
I am a giant goofball. I LOVE laughter and I have a highly inappropriate sense of humor. My favorite cussword begins with F, and I use it (liberally) to relieve stress or make a point. Growth isn’t easy, but it doesn’t have to be heavy either. We’re going to laugh our way through our learning. Together.
While I still have much to learn, I’ve done my work. I’m comfortable in my own skin. I’ve defined what matters to me, and I work to direct my energy at only those things. You could say I’ve reached a point in life where I take very little guff from anyone. (Let me tell you, it feels AMAZING.) Hang out with me long enough and you can reach that place too. ☺
